Yaletown Real Estate - Property Search And Information

Yaletown was originally a warehouse district and remained so as late as the 1980’s. It was established during 1886 when the Canadian Pacific Railway company transplanted it’s maintenance yard from the nearby town of Yale over to Vancouver.

The area has become quite a trendy area of Vancouver to live in, and the warehouses now function as fashionable restaurants, boutiques, cafes, and residential apartments for the young Vancouverites who call this area their home. Demand for condos in the area is as high as any other area in the entire city. There is a lot of residential construction in Yaletown, the old warehouses are constantly being converted into apartment towers by developers.

Although it’s not a very large area, Yaletown is a great area to walk around on a nice day. There are amazing shops and restaurants to fill all your desires and some of the trendiest bars in the city. Yaletown is such a vibrant business and social community, there is just so much to see, feel and touch.
